The Liverpool-Manchester United rivalry has been a historic one for many years now, and always produces great games even if one of them is not at their best. In recent years it is Liverpool who are usually on top, but even so the last 5 matches at Anfield have been very evident.

Liverpool 7-0 Manchester United (2023): This is the biggest result in the history of these matches. Last season turned out to be pretty bad by Liverpool's standards, but they were still capable of producing results like this. Klopp's side put United to the sword with braces from Salah, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Núñez, with Firmino adding another goal near the end of the game.

Liverpool 4-0 Manchester United (2022): Liverpool were locked in one of the Premier League's most exciting battles for the top spot, and going into the 30th matchday of the competition they were a well-oiled machine. Manchester United had little chance of fighting this team, losing both games of the season.

Only a draw

Liverpool 0-0 Manchester United (2021): The draw didn't end up being worth it for either team, which saw Manchester City pull away in the standings, and to date it is the last draw experienced between the two teams. Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United (2020): Liverpool were unchallenged in the Premier League this season, and this win is part of an astonishing 99-point haul for Klopp's side in 19-20.
