After Liverpool and striker Sadio Mané endured a disastrous year after parting company in the summer of 2022, the Merseyside outfit realised it was a blunder to let their best striker leave without even trying to talk to the Senegalese again to try and agree a new contract that would do justice to his performances in every game.

With the imminent departure of Sadio Mané due to behavioural problems with his teammate Leroy Sané, both the management and the player himself want to reach a mutual agreement to be able to arrange his departure as quickly as possible but not to just any institution, the African wanted to wear red and play at Anfield as he did months ago, the Reds being evidently in agreement and interested in the player who for several seasons was their main and top goal scorer.

After the departure of Mané from Bayern Munich and Liverpool's interest in bringing back one of their best strikers of the decade, what is really intriguing about this signing is the agreements that the Reds and the player will reach, as it is said that this time the top management will agree to give the striker a figure in line with his footballing qualities, even though his year in Germany has been one of the worst.

The salary

Opinions are obviously divided on the case, because while fans see the arrival of their former striker as spectacular, others fear for the level of the player and the price that this will mean to the institution, as there is even a rumour that Mané could earn a figure similar to that of Mohamed Salah, around 16 to 18 million euros a year.
