Neither Manchester United nor Tottenham Hotspur will be contenders for the Premier League title this season. At least that's what Mohamed Salah declared, who gave his three favourites for the championship, in addition to Liverpool, with whom they will fight for another trophy.

Salah said the three teams in contention with Liverpool are Manchester City, Chelsea and an unthinkable club, Arsenal, which has not been a benchmark in recent years. "Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.  Those three in my opinion," he said.

Salah's records in ManU defeat

Salah's latest goal came in his 258th game since joining the club from AS Roma in the summer of 2017. Monday night's goal took the Egyptian's tally to 120 Premier League goals, 34 in the Champions League, four in the Emirates FA Cup and one in the FA Community Shield.

Salah's next target on the goalscoring list is Sir Kenny Dalglish, who is in seventh place having finished his time at Anfield with 172 goals. These are Liverpool's all-time leading goalscorers.
