Steven Gerrard will return to work. The former Liverpool FC player began his managerial career in the 2018-2019 season with Rangers. After some good results in the Scottish league, he joined Aston Villa, where he did not have very good luck, as he was sacked after just 11 months in charge, specifically at the end of October last year.

The Englishman has flown under the radar since then, having heard rumours of a possible return to the dugout on a number of occasions, including from Turkey. In the meantime, he has been making appearances on Liverpool television to give some insight into the Liverpool side, who are currently sixth in the Premier League.

However, as the 'Daily Mail' has exclusively reported, Steven Gerrard has a new job, and this one is also linked to the world of football, although from a very different position, as part of the Channel 4 team as a TV commentator.

Gerrard's favourite

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the great captain Gerrard backed Klopp in the coming generational change with Jones. "I remember having a conversation with Jürgen and we were talking about Curtis and he was like 'yeah, there's a few little things that we need to improve in a few areas' and all that," Steven pointed out.
