After it was announced that Sadio Mané will not have much chance of staying with Bayern Munich for next season because of all the conflicts that have existed since his arrival in the summer of last year, the Senegalese striker seems to have his future sorted out with a return to Merseyside that many have already predicted.

It may come as a surprise to Mané that the Reds currently have more attacking players who can do the job without any problem, but beyond Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo being his main competition in front of goal, the Senegalese could have his first disagreement regarding the number he will wear on his back, as it is known that Luis Díaz for the next campaign will abandon the number 23 to wear the number 10 that belonged to the African.

As for the number to follow, Sadio Mané will not find himself with that first inconvenience, as it turns out that the number 17 that he wears today in the Bavarian team, in the Reds is occupied by Curtis Jones, having perhaps to choose to use the number 9 that Roberto Firmino will leave, being a second option that 7 that James Milner keeps today, although for that the departure of the British midfielder must be gestated first.

Mané looks to make history with two different numbers on Merseyside

Having marked an important era with his goals for Liverpool wearing the characteristic 10 on his back, Mané will surely have to adapt to the current arrangements of the group and acquire a new digit that will give him the luck he could not have with the 17, having both with the 7 and 9 a complicated task as both numbers have been used by players of great quality.
