There are rumors of a possible Sadio Mané return to Anfield

In the most recent winning era of our club, one of the players who won the hearts of all the fans thanks to his great performances was Sadio Mané, who together with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, formed one of the most powerful tridents in Europe. However, after winning everything with Liverpool, Mané decided to try his luck away from Anfield.

Mané asked the board to leave the club and headed to Germany to play for Bundesliga giants FC Bayern. However, despite winning the German league, Mané does not seem to be entirely happy so there has been speculation of a possible return to Liverpool to play once again under Jürgen Klopp.

Although Sadio Mané is considered a legend at Liverpool, currently the Reds board and our coach do not consider the arrival of the 3-year-old attacker a priority, especially taking into account that his market value is around 45 million euros, as Klopp has made the decision to rejuvenate the squad.

According to various reports, the club has not closed the doors to a possible return of Mané, but it is far from being a priority. Some former Reds players have even taken a stance on Sadio's possible return and their reactions are not favorable towards the Senegalese striker. Such is the case of Glen Johnson, a former Liverpool player who said about the possible role of Mané in the current Liverpool.

What did Glen Johnson have to say about Mané?

Former Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson said in an interview with the Liverpool Echo that Jürgen Klopp should not bring back Sadio Mané because the team he would be joining is "completely different" to the one we had when he left. “He was great for Liverpool at the time, but it does not mean that he would be great for the now. I don't think they should go for him”, he said.
