The summer soap opera between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain continues, with the French star refusing to sign a contract extension and the Parisian club unable to find a way to get rid of the player, who is apparently in no hurry to leave Parc des Princes. In recent days Mbappé has been linked with Liverpool as one of the teams most interested in trying to sign him.

For several weeks it has been reported that PSG intends to sell Mbappé to any club that presents a good offer, although inside the club they believe that the 24-year-old attacker already has an agreement with Real Madrid to arrive for free next summer, although there are also those who claim that Mbappé is just waiting to receive his loyalty bonus to start negotiating his departure to the Spanish club.

Various media have assured that PSG would be happy to reach an agreement with any other club before Real Madrid, a situation that our Liverpool would have allegedly taken advantage of to present a one-year loan offer. However, Jürgen Klopp has already come out to clarify the rumors about the alleged interest of the Reds in signing one of the best players in the world.

Klopp's words on Liverpool's interest in Mbappé

Jürgen Klopp assured that currently the club is not in the necessary financial conditions that would allow them to aspire to sign a jugadir like Kylian Mbappé. "We laugh about it. I can say that I think he's a really good player, but the financial conditions don't suit us at all. I wouldn't like to ruin the story now, but as far as I know, there's nothing to it. But it's possible that someone else from the club is preparing something and wants to surprise me, but that hasn't happened in the eight years that I've been here. That would be the first time," he said.
