Argentine footballer Angel Di Maria announced his departure from Serie A side Juventus after just one season with the club. Through social networks, the Rosarino player sent an emotional message to the club, his teammates and the fans, whom he thanked for the support and affection they showed him.

"It's the end of a difficult and complicated period. I leave with the peace of mind that I gave everything I had to help the club continue to win titles, but it wasn't possible. I leave with the bitter taste of not having achieved it but with the happiness of taking with me many friends from the wonderful dressing room I was part of. "Thanks to all my team-mates for the affection they gave me from the first day, I always felt at home. A big greeting to all the Juventinos for the affection they show me every day. A big hug, I carry you in my heart," he wrote.

Di Maria made a total of 40 appearances for the Bianconeri, registering eight goals, seven assists and no trophies. There are several rumours about his future, as various reports indicate that his desire is to continue competing at the elite level despite his 35 years.

Market options

Liverpool, having failed to qualify for the Champions League next season, will not have the same financial injection as in previous years, so they will have to make intelligent purchases, especially by taking advantage of free players and Angel Di Maria could give category to the attack, where there is a lot of youth but only Mohamed Salah brings veteran experience.
