Undoubtedly one of the great figures of recent years for Liverpool has been Sadio Mané, who became one of the best players in the world wearing the Reds jersey, a team with which he conquered not only England, but also Europe.
Mané even earned the nickname of legend, as he was one of the pillars in Jürgen Klopp's winning project during the team's most recent golden epic. However, when everything seemed to be going well, Sadio Mané decided that his time at Anfield had come to an end and surprised everyone when he asked not to continue at the club to pursue his career at FC Bayern.
At the German club Sadio Mané arrived as one of the best in the world, but he soon realized that there is no place like Anfield and although he won the Bundesliga title with the Munich side, he was never as comfortable and happy as he was at Liverpool. In fact, Mané was even suspended by the German club after a physical confrontation with teammate Leroy Sané, which ended up sparking rumors of a possible return to Liverpool.
However, Klopp and the Reds board have other priorities, because although Mané is still a great player and is very much loved at Anfield, the German tactician wants to rejuvenate the squad and that is why he will prioritize the arrival of young players rather than returning to the team's old stars. In fact, Klopp and his coaching staff already have their sights set on one of the players who could come in to strengthen the team's attack and help Mohamed Salah.
While it is true that Jürgen Klopp has made it clear that signing midfielders is the main objective for the transfer market, the possibility of signing attacking players is not closed. In that sense, Federico Chiesa is one of the players who could arrive at Anfield this summer, as his cost of €40 million makes him a realistic target for the Reds.
