Alexis Mac Allister undergoes his medical on Tuesday before signing for Liverpool on Wednesday to become the Reds' first big signing of the transfer window ahead of next season, something that will help improve the midfield as they look to get back to the Premier League and return to the Champions League.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool will pay Brighton 55 million to sign the Argentinian, who won the World Cup last year and has helped his side qualify for European competition for the first time in their history. His signing has been an explicit request from German manager Jurgen Klopp.
