The summer transfer window is still open and teams continue to look for players who could strengthen their squads ahead of next season. Our Liverpool is one of the teams that since the end of last season has been shaping up to be one of the most active in this transfer window, as the intention of Jürgen Klopp and the Anfield board would be to rebuild the team after the failure of the last campaign.

That is why the Reds' board has already managed to finalize two signings that promise to be very important for the future of the team, as with the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, Klopp has begun the renovation of the midfield that was so much talked about a few weeks ago. However, the German tactician has also suffered important departures that would lead to the arrival of even more players than planned.

In recent days, two important players have been linked with a possible departure from Anfield and everything seems to indicate that both will end up leaving the team this summer. They are Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, who will leave the club to join the powerful Saudi Arabian league where they will earn millions of euros.

Given this, Jürgen Klopp is already looking at several players who could replace Hendo and El Flaco, and it seems that one of the candidates could spark a battle between Liverpool and Manchester United, as Klopp would have in mind one of the players that Erik ten Hag has been following for weeks.

Who is that player?

According to journalist James Pearce, Jürgen Klopp has put Sofyan Amrabat on his list of targets following the imminent departures of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson. The 26-year-old Moroccan midfielder was one of the big stars of the last World Cup and has been on Manchester United's radar for several weeks.
