Liverpool FC Women can confirm that Lucy Parry has completed a season-long loan move to Hibernian Women. The 18-year-old signed her first professional contract with the Reds last week and will now move north to gain valuable experience and match time with the Edinburgh-based club.

Hibernian play in the Scottish Women’s Premier League, Scotland’s top tier, and finished fourth in the table last season. They begin their 2022-23 league campaign away to Celtic Women on Sunday.

Niamh Fahey

The Republic of Ireland international led the team to the FA Women’s Championship title last season and will be at the forefront of the challenge as they return to the Barclays Women’s Super League in September. A lifelong Reds fan, the 34-year-old finally joined the club four years ago after a trophy-laden career at Arsenal and Chelsea.

Vastly experienced at centre-back, her positional excellence and aerial dominance offer a perfect foundation for the Liverpool defence.

Galway native Fahey has played for her country more than 100 times and continues to fight for World Cup qualification in the current campaign.
