Roberto Firmino reached 100 goals for Liverpool in all competitions in their 9-0 win over Bournemouth this afternoon. The England giants woke up, picked up their first Premier League win, played masterfully from the first minute and Firmino set a new record.
The No 9's second goal at Anfield set the record since Firmino joined the club from German side Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015. The Brazilian became the 19th player to reach triple figures in Reds history, doing so with a brace in his 331st appearance.
Seventy-three of Firmino's goals have come in the Premier League so far, while in the Champions League he has managed to score 20 times, plus another goal in qualifying for European competition. The Brazilian also scored twice in the FA Cup and FIFA Club World Cup respectively, and has scored single-handedly for the Reds in the League Cup and Europa League.
Liverpool claimed a 9-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday afternoon. The Reds equalled a Premier League winning record to seal their first top-flight victory of the 2022-23 season.
