At the express request of manager Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool have set about shoring up their wide midfield. However, they have been on the lookout for the French midfielder. It looks like this summer transfer window is going to be more than interesting in relation to Real Madrid's plans. A change of cycle is taking place, all because of the departure of several of their players. These departures have, of course, freed up salary space to provide more room for movement.

As far as this article is concerned, it seems that the 14-time Champions League winners do not intend to dispense with the services of a player of the future. We are talking about Aurélien Tchouaméni (23 years old), a midfielder who has gone from strength to strength during the 2022-2023 campaign (slump on his return from the World Cup in Qatar).

Despite this loss of prominence, Tchouaméni is not in the shop window with a view to the next season. According to information from Defensa Central, Liverpool have made an offer of €60m for the former AS Monaco player and Real Madrid's response has been categorical.

He will no longer sign for Liverpool

The reason? The Merengue giants have given the Merseyside outfit a hard time because they believe that the France international can be a key player in their engine room in the long term. With Tchouaméni's move (in theory) ruled out, the Reds are edging ever closer to recruiting Alexis Mac Allister (from Brighton).
