Mbappe will not stay at PSG and is now analysing where he will continue to play

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke publicly about Kylian Mbappé and in referring to the striker appeared to put behind him all the controversy over the player's desire to leave the French capital in the last transfer window. Speaking at a press conference on the occasion of his visit to Sporting Braga's new training ground, Al-Khelaifi spoke about his current relationship with Kylian Mbappé and how he has begun to unite the squad inside and outside the club.

"Kylian Mbappé is an incredible player and a fantastic person. And the PSG team, on and off the pitch, has never been so united, something you could see last weekend in the game against Lyon (4-1, two goals from Mbappé)," he commented on the matter. He went on to talk about the planning for this season, where he hopes that the level of play and the chemistry of the squad will be the main thing to improve and not so much the results.

"This year, in the new cycle at PSG, we are focusing less on results and more on performance and our style of play. If we do that, the results will follow. We have a fantastic coach and a fantastic sporting director and I am very happy with the renewed spirit at the club," he added. The Qatari leader revealed that he is positive about the evolution of the football world in the Middle East, stating that “the world is global and so is football”.

"There should not be a singular view of the world, of what we are doing, of what we are doing, of what we are doing, of what we are doing, of what we are doing, of what we are doing, of what we are doing," he added. According to L'equipe magazine, France forward Kylian Mbappe, 24, is reportedly open to the idea of joining Liverpool next summer as he looks for a 2024 departure from Paris St-Germain.
