There is no doubt that Mohamed Salah is already a Liverpool legend. The Egyptian has established himself, during his time at Anfield, as one of the best in the world and at the same time has become one of the best and most talented players that our team has ever had, a reason that has earned him the affection of all the fans.
Although Mo Salah is still a world class player and even, at 31 years of age, is the best player in the squad, it is no secret that he may not have many years left playing at the highest level, so it would be wise for the Reds management to start looking for the one who could be his replacement in the future when the Pharaoh decides to leave for another team or to end his career as a Liverpool player.
That is why Jürgen Klopp and his coaching staff are already monitoring the market for Salah's heir at Liverpool, and although the priority for the current summer transfer window is to sign one more midfielder and at least one central defender, Klopp has ruled out the possibility of bringing in an attacking midfielder.
In that sense, everything seems to indicate that Jürgen Klopp's favorite to take over from Mohamed Salah would be Juventus right winger Federico Chiesa, who is currently under contract with the Italian club until 2025 and is valued at around €40 million, a price that, due to Liverpool's current priorities, could rule him out to arrive at Anfield this summer, but would certainly be an option for the future.
Various media reports claim that Federico Chiesa's agent has been spotted in England, increasing rumors of a possible meeting with Liverpool's board to discuss the possible signing of Federico Chiesa.
