Jürgen Klopp is looking at potential replacements for the departures of Henderson and Fabinho

Jürgen Klopp is already looking at players who could arrive at Anfield this summer to fill the gaps left by Jordan Henderson and Fabinho after their imminent departures from the team this summer, and the Reds board could bring in a good amount of money from the sales of both players so they would have no problems in financial matters to continue signing.

That is why Klopp has not skimped when it comes to putting players on the list of possible candidates to arrive at Anfield. One of the names that has caused the most buzz is Sofyan Ambrabat, the 26-year-old midfielder who surprised everyone during the Qatar 2022 World Cup with the impressive Morocco team.

Amrabat has since attracted interest from a number of teams, including Liverpool who are rumored to have been keen on signing him during the winter transfer window, however in the end an agreement was not reached with Fiorentina. However, everything seems to indicate that both the player and his current team have already reached the conclusion that he will not continue in Serie A next season and would have the green light to look for a new team.

While Amrabat could be a financially viable option and has proven to have the ability to replace Fabinho as the team's starter, there is one issue that could prevent his arrival at Anfield, and that is that Sofyan's availability could be in predicament for a key point in the upcoming campaign, and perhaps Jürgen Klopp would not be willing to risk it.

The problem that Sofyan Amrabat would bring to Liverpool

Being selected for Morocco, Sofyan Amrabat could miss several games in the month of January due to the African Cup of Nations, which is why they will also be without Mohamed Salah for at least 5 games. This could make Klopp think twice before signing Amrabat, who is set to leave Fiorentina this summer.
