FC Barcelona has economic problems for exceeding the salary limit in the Spanish League, that is why the club has to release several soccer players so that they can register others. The midfielder Frankie De Jong does not want to leave the club but several teams in Europe want to sign him.
Manchester United was the team most interested in hiring Frenkie de Jong, the Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag tried to convince the soccer player but he rejected the offer and preferred to continue at FC Barcelona.
