While manager Jurgen Klopp's entourage is almost always associated with all the good and bad that goes on at Liverpool, sometimes the Reds boss becomes a co-star of the stories that are told, and even more so when there are multiple and surprising tales involving his wife Ulla Sandrock, who has been in the spotlight since her arrival on Merseyside a few years ago.

While Klopp spends much of his time thinking and analysing a myriad of strategies to make the Reds one of the most competitive teams in the world, the Anfield manager's wife spends her time working as a children's storyteller, inspired by her frequent presence in a footballing environment to write a book about the sport just over a decade ago.

On a personal level, Ulla Sandrock is not one to get involved in controversies that could involve or compromise her husband's work at Liverpool, opting always to stay out of these situations in order to better support from the stands an institution that has shared certain ideologies that the German writer approves of and practices.

Klopp's wife is more than just a writer

Just as Liverpool has repeatedly shown itself to be an institution that not only evokes its principles and values in sport, Jurgen Klopp's wife has also made it clear that her work as a writer is only a complement to her altruistic activities that she constantly carries out, always staying away from the media spotlight so that they do not make her work an act plagued by criticism.
