The 21-year-old Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is finally a new Liverpool player after the Anfield board managed to reach an agreement of 40 million euros plus 5 million in add-ons to sign him. Gravenberch became the club's fourth and final signing of the summer, and will be tied to the club until 2028.

Gravenberch has already visited the AXA Training Center and met his new teammates and also Jürgen Klopp with whom he had a brief chat, and who, according to the player himself, received him very warmly.

On the morning of Friday, September 1, Ryan Gravenberch successfully completed his medical examinations, after which he signed his new contract. Now, it will only be a matter of time and adaptation to see him play his first game as a new Liverpool player, as it seems that the Dutchman will have a leading role in the scheme of Jürgen Klopp, who assured that he sees him as a very talented player with a lot to learn.

In that sense, many fans have wondered two things. What number will Gravenberch wear and when will he make his official debut for Liverpool? Could it be this weekend against Aston Villa at Anfield?

The answers

Ryan Gravenberch will wear the number 38 with Liverpool, as he has already posed with the team's jersey. However, according to journalist David Lynch, unfortunately the board could not register Gravenberch in time for him to play this weekend, so he will have to wait until the next game, against Wolves, to make his debut on September 16.
