Since last year Harvey Elliott has been one of the better young players for Liverpool, but now it doesn’t look like he wants to stay in the club any more. The England young stud is looking at his options and Newcastle looks like a good option for him as they are building a young squad that has already made it to the Champions League.
The price for Elliott to leave it’s said to be around the 45 million pounds already with incentives, there is also the option of leaving with a loan deal but it wouldn’t be a good idea for the Anfield’s club and also for Geordie’s club, the deal could be ended by the end of next june.
Other teams that are interested in the player are Everton (if they stay in the Premier League) and Arsenal has been linked as of lately but it doesn't look like it could be the player’s final destination. As we know one of the problems is his minutes but also the fact that he hasn’t renewed his contract that expires in 2025 could be something.
In his stay in Liverpool Eliott has played 65 games and scored 9 goals, these season where career highs in games with 35 games, but only 56% of the minutes available, something that he didn’t want as the 20 years player wants to be part of the England national squad and the minutes are a huge deal.
The ultimatum for the player’s renewal is set for june of these year, but the fact the team doesn’t have the Champions League tv assets would make it less than what we would expect, another huge part of these story.
