Bayern Munich seem to have put an end to a poor run of four games without a win in the Bundesliga, which led them to be out of the Champions League places at times, but the 4-0 win over Bayern Leverkusen last Friday and the 5-0 win over Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League seem to have banished all ghosts of a possible sporting crisis and the team seems to be performing better every day, just like Sadio Mané.

The Senegalese striker became Bayern Munich's star summer signing for 30 million euros. The former Liverpool player arrived to replace the departure of Robert Lewandowski and after a very promising start to the season with 4 goals in 5 games, the German striker fell into a small goalscoring crisis from which he seems to be gradually emerging, as he has not scored for the Bavarians since 31 August and his signing has begun to be questioned in the Bundesliga.

But his goals against Bayern Leverkusen last Friday and Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday have stopped all the critical voices that were already labelling Mané's arrival as a failure. It seems that the Senegalese is slowly getting back to his best, but despite this, Bayern Munich want to be on the safe side in case the former Liverpool man never manages to show the same level at the Allianz Arena as he did at Anfield and are already working on the signing of a new '9'.
