The next summer transfer window will have Liverpool as one of the main protagonists, as the Anfield team is expected to be one of the most active in the market, both in terms of signings and departures for the next season in which they will not play the Champions League, and one of the players who is closer to the Reds is Alexis Mac Allister.
Mac Allister had the best season of his career in the Premier League with Brighton & Hove Albion and was also one of the key pieces in Lionel Scaloni's system to achieve the world championship in Qatar 2022 with the Argentina national team, so his value in the market increased and is valued at 42 million euros, according to the Transfermarkt portal.
The Reds' board has already contacted Brighton and everything seems to indicate that the 24-year-old Argentine midfielder would be very close to wearing the shirt of the team that Never Walks Alone next season. Given that Jürgen Klopp's main intention is to revive and strengthen the midfield, Mac Allister would be considered to have a fundamental role in the German tactician's project.
In recent days, Mac Allister published a letter to Brighton fans, thanking them for the time he has spent at the club, thus increasing the rumors about his departure to Anfield. In addition, it was revealed the financial offer that Liverpool's board would be preparing to convince Mac Allister to sign with them as soon as the transfer window opens on June 14.
Although Alexis Mac Allister has been very careful and has not said anything about his immediate future, his cousin Luciano Guaycochea stated that he cannot give details about the midfielder's future, but said that "everyone knows that he is close to Liverpool".
