Liverpool's priority for the transfer market is very clear, as since the end of the 2022-2023 season they have been looking for young midfielders who can contribute to the club's medium and long-term project. However, Jürgen Klopp knows that they will have to compete with other teams that also have their sights set on those players.

In that sense, Liverpool was already able to finalize its first signing of the summer with the definitive purchase of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion, after a great season in which he managed to win the World Cup with the Argentina national team in Qatar 2022. After his arrival at Anfield, the board of directors got down to work, as Mac Allister is expected to be just the first of a series of reinforcements to help Liverpool return to the Champions League as soon as possible.

As part of the list of candidates, important names have emerged as young players who enjoyed a great season in their respective teams, such is the case of Képhren Thuram and Manu Koné, who have been reported as Klopp's two primary targets.

However, they are not the only players that interest the German tactician in the transfer market, as in recent days it was reported that one of the most promising jewels of Turkish football has aroused the interest of Liverpool and Barcelona, who will now have to compete to convince them to join their respective squads. We are talking about Arda Güler, the 19-year-old Turkish attacking midfielder who is Turkey's most promising player.

How much does Arda Güler cost?

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, both Liverpool and Barcelona have been informed about the price of Arda Güler this summer. According to the information, Güler has a contract termination clause amounting to 17.5 million euros, a very affordable sum for either team.
