Steve Kerr, current coach of the NBA champions, was in Liverpool and had a chat with the trident Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold. During the break between NBA seasons, the new "Lord of the Rings" took advantage of his European trip to visit the Reds on Merseyside.
The Golden State Warriors coach was spotted at Liverpool's training session, where he was able to chat with three of the world's best players.
Kerr, a four-time NBA champion as a coach and four times as a player, was able to chat with Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, England full-back Trent Alexander Arnold and Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk, with whom he shared some of his experiences in professional sport. "Steve is a true basketball legend," Salah said in a social media post.
The four sports stars took a photo of themselves at the Champions League finalists' training ground after a few minutes of sharing experiences.
Liverpool is closely linked to the NBA due to the fact that American superstar LeBron James is part of the team's owners. The "King" was present at the last final against Real Madrid in Saint-Denis, France.
