The beginning of the next transfer window will be one full of activity for the Anfield squad, since they are one of the teams that will be looking for reinforcements for the next season after being out of places for the next Champions League, and although the arrival of several players is expected, it is almost inevitable to think that the team will not suffer some casualties, particularly that of the club's promising young players.
As soon as the 2022-2023 season ended, the departure of at least four players who were key players in Liverpool's last golden era became known, such as Naby Keita, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Roberto Firmino, who will not renew their contracts with the Merseyside outfit.
In this sense, the priority of the Reds' board is to revitalize the squad with the arrival of young players who can lift the project led by Jürgen Klopp. That is why names such as Alexis Mac Allister or Képhren Thuram sound like great options to arrive at Anfield next season.
However, there are players who have grown up under the eyes of the fans and who are exciting for the future of the team, but at the same time arouse the interest of other teams, so the offers have begun to arrive at the Liverpool offices to ask about one of Klopp's favorite young players: portuguese Fábio Carvalho.
Fábio Carvalho is 20 years old and is one of Liverpool's most promising prospects, a favorite of Jürgen Klopp, as he represents a bet for the club's present and future. However, due to his youth, Carvalho is not a regular man in Klopp's lineups so he would be considering a change of scenery.
The newly promoted team to the Premier League, Burnley, is the one who has shown interest in acquiring Carvalho's services and Liverpool's board would not see with bad eyes a possible loan to gain more experience.
