Mohamed Salah continues to be the great offensive reference for Liverpool, with whom he was re-signed at the end of last season and where he continues to be a star who consistently makes a difference. At the end of last season and while Sadio Mané was packing his bags, Liverpool managed to seal the continuity of one of its pillars such as Mohamed Salah. The 30-year-old striker signed a huge contract to continue leading the Reds, who are finishing this season at a good level and will fight to return to the Champions League.
A great final push by Jürgen Klopp's side in a season in which the Anfield outfit left doubts until a few weeks ago. The English side have managed to turn around an extremely complicated situation, where they hit rock bottom in March when they were knocked out of Europe by Real Madrid. But the Egyptian striker is playing a key role in this resurgence. The former AS Roma and Chelsea player, among others, is once again proving to be a key player for the reigning European runners-up. He has been able to score 30 goals and provide 15 assists in a total of 50 games to date. He has been a clearly differential striker this season, especially in the most recent stretch.
The African striker has regularly settled in that line of 30+ goals per campaign. In fact, he has scored 31 in the last two seasons, although always far from his first great season at Anfield where he scored 43. He will therefore continue to be an important player for the Merseyside side in the years to come.
With Liverpool's poor season, many were predicting the Pharaoh's decline, but he has silenced them with a spectacular season, scoring 45 goals in the campaign, surpassing the likes of Vinicius, who scored 45, and Lionel Messi, who scored 40 goals for PSG.
