"He told me that Bayern is a great club, everyone there is very friendly and Munich is a beautiful city," Mané revealed. The words of his former Liverpool teammate, gave him full confidence to make the move and seek new challenges in Germany. "He immediately gave me a good feeling," he concluded.

Thiago played for Bayern for seven seasons, and with all that experience he was able to advise his teammate. After reaching the top with the Bavarian club, winning the Champions League and proving a key player for the squad, he joined Liverpool and played two seasons alongside Sadio Mané.

Collymore: "Sadio Mané is absolutely right to go to Bayern"

Sadio Mané's decision came as a surprise at Anfield. What seemed like a dream attacking lineup fizzled out after the Senegalese's departure to Munich. For Stan Collymore, a former Liverpool striker, this was not the case. According to him, Mané was badly treated by the press and was not considered a legend at Anfield.

The former striker told the Mirror that he understands the winger's unhappiness, as he felt disregarded even though he knows he was of great importance to the club’s recent success, along with his bad relationship with Mohamed Salah.
