We have reached the first break of the 2023-2024 season of our Liverpool in the Premier League, as the international break will mean that there will be no club activity for 13 days during which some of our players will travel with their respective national teams to play matches in various competitions or even friendlies.

During this time, Jürgen Klopp is hoping to recover injured players in the hope that he can have a full squad when the campaign resumes on September 16 at the Molineauz Stadium against Wolves, as there are currently four first-team players out injured: Thiago Alcantara, Ibrahima Konaté, Conor Bradley and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

In the case of Conor Bradley, he is not expected to return in the short term, as the back injury he is suffering from will keep him out of action for at least 3 months. However, the other three players are likely to recover during these days, considering a very tight schedule during the second part of September, in which we will have five matches in a span of two weeks, so Jürgen Klopp will have to make use of all the players in the team.

Of those five matches, three will be in the Premier League, one in the Carabao Cup and one more will be Liverpool's debut in the Europa League, a match for which they will have to leave England and travel to Austria, so the recovery of Alexander-Arnold, Konaté and Thiago is fundamental for the team's future aspirations.

Liverpool's September schedule

On September 16 we will face Wolves at Molineaux Stadium, on the 21st the team will play against LASK in the first match of the Europa League group stage in Austria. On September 24 we host West Ham at Anfield and two days later the team will play against Leicester City and finally, on September 30 Jürgen Klopp and the lads will play Tottenham as visitors.
