It seems obvious to say it, but in this case it is important to mention it. When a club signs a player, its main intention is to use him on the pitch, because at the time of signing him they see him as an important element that can help the team. However, as strange as it may seem, there are players who despite being signed by a team never get to play for that team, and our Liverpool knows very well that such cases happen.
In 2018, Liverpool decided to buy one of the most promising young players in South American Football, as they decided to incorporate to their U-23 squad the Colombian player Anderson Arroyo, who at that time was just 18 years old and was considered the great promise of Colombia.
Jürgen Klopp and the Anfield board decided to take him to Liverpool, as they considered he had the potential to be a future starter or at least a future member of the first team. At that time no one imagined that the right back would have spent five years without playing a single minute for the team and all due to a situation that is beyond his control and that also would not be the first time that for that reason a Liverpool player can not play with the team.
Anderson Arroyo has not been able to obtain his work permit in England despite having been trying to get it for 5 years. That is why he has had to go from club to club in other leagues to try to raise his level. This summer it has been confirmed that Anderson will go to play for FC Andorra in Spain, with the hope that during the next season he will be able to obtain the work permit that will allow him to compete for a place in the team's squad.
