Liverpool's match against Newcastle was one that we will undoubtedly remember for a long time, as what seemed like a nightmare ended up becoming a fairy dream thanks in large part to Darwin Nunez, who came on as a substitute and scored two goals to give Jürgen Klopp's team the victory and the three points.

The end of the match was so exciting that even Jürgen Klopp compared it to that mythical victory of our Liverpool against Barcelona in the 2019 UEFA Champions League. "This Newcastle win was more difficult than the comeback against Barcelona because this was an away game," he said.

To say that are big words, because that game against Lionel Messi's Barcelona is, for many, a feat comparable to the Miracle of Istanbul. However, it is no secret to anyone in the world of football that our coach Jürgen Klopp is a passionate coach who lives every minute of the game to the hilt and usually transmits that energy to the players on and off the pitch, as well as to the fans.

That is why, with Darwin Nunez's brace and taking into account how complicated the victory was, being away and with a player less for more than an hour, it was to be expected that Klopp would burst with joy in his reaction to the Uruguayan's goals.

Klopp's reaction to Nunez's goals

Contrary to his custom, Jürgen Klopp did not celebrate Darwin Nunez's goals against Newcastle in such a euphoric manner. He hugged some of the players on the bench and his assistants, but it was not the effusive Klopp we are so used to.
