Although the Uruguayan was unable to score, there is evidence in the match summary that he was key

Uruguay's Darwin Nunez did not have his best game on Sunday in Liverpool's 4-3 home win over Fulham in the 14th round of the English Premier League. Darwin, who appeared in a new look, barely came on in a tight first half. The striker won this Sunday with Liverpool against Fulham in a great game in the 14th round of the English Premier League.

In addition to that, he was very well marked in that period. However, in the second half he played on the counter and came up with Mohamed Salah in a couple of scoring situations. One hit the crossbar, but the other one was really incredible how the Uruguayan missed it.

Fulham played a great away game, so much so that in the second half, after Darwin's missed goal, they were 3-2 up. But in the final minutes, Liverpool managed to turn it around for the final 4-3. Then, on the fourth goal, Darwin exploded and ran to the substitutes' bench. It was a kind of relief, even though the goal was not his, although he did play an active part in the play with a cross to the far post. He then went to embrace the Hungarian Szoboszlai, who had already gone off, and coach Jürgen Klopp for the joy of those three points.

Darwin was key

Although the Uruguayan was unable to score, there is evidence in the match summary that he was key to Liverpool's win. In Wataru Endo's goal, he was the one who received the ball to leave it to Salah before giving the assist to the Japanese. And in the winning goal, the Uruguayan is the one who prevents the ball from going out of play and passes back to Trent Alexander-Arnold
