The game against Burnemouth started in the worst possible way for Liverpool as they went behind after just three minutes with a goal from Ghanaian striker Anthony Semenyo who took advantage of a serious defensive error, especially from Trent Alexander-Arnold who did not control a pass from Virgil Van Dijk correctly, which caused the Reds captain's anger.

The Cherries put pressure on Jurgen Klopp's team from the first minute and that caused them problems as the defence could not have a good control of the ball and Van Dijk tried to get on the ball with Train but the control was not correct in midfield and they stole the ball to leave Semenyo in a good position to score the 1-0 and cause the annoyance of the fans at Anfield.

This goal became the second goal conceded in the championship, reminiscent of Chelsea's goal last time out at Stamford Bridge in a 1-1 draw where the Colombian Luis Diaz had scored for Liverpool to open the scoring after a great assist from Mohamed Salah

The anger

Van Dijk's annoyance at Trent Alexander Arnold's mistake in the Bordeaux goal was evident on the television broadcast, demonstrating the voice of authority that the Dutchman has after taking over the captain's role following Jordan Henderson's departure to Saudi Arabia.
