The Senegalese is all set to return to Anfield where he became one of the best in the world.

Last summer, Sadio Mané made the decision to turn down a renewal offer from Liverpool and asked to leave the club after several years at Anfield. In the end, the Premiership side decided not to do battle with the Senegalese player and concluded a short-lived sale to Bayern Munich for a fee of around 50 million euros.

The rest is history, between injuries, poor play and indiscipline, the African's performances for the German side have been far below expectations. There is talk of a huge regret on both sides in finalising this signing, which is why there is a very real option for the player to leave the German club this summer, as he is not in Tuchel's primary plans and would have a couple of options on his table to return to the Premier League in the summer.

Market specialist Ekrem Konur reports that both Newcastle and Chelsea see Sadio Mané as a potential signing for next season and could bid for his transfer. Still, both clubs would have positions on the matter, they will not pay the same figure as the German team, his price will have to be below 50 million significantly, likewise, the player's salary will be capped at the same 10 million per year that he receives within Bayern, there is no option for an improvement in any way.

Klopp has already set a limit

While Sadio Mané is getting closer and closer to signing his return to Liverpool, according to journalist James Pierce published in the newspaper The Athletic, the club has set a deadline of July 8 as the date on which he wants to close the signings in order to have them for the whole of pre-season, so that the Senegalese striker could return to the team where he shone the most.
