The immediate future of a player as profitable in defence as Benjamin Pavard is to leave Bayern Munich. In fact, the only thing that remains to be seen is whether the player plans to move on in 2023 or whether he will have to do so until next year in 2024, the date on which his contract will no longer be valid with the Germans.

Everything seems to indicate that the French defender has at the moment some kind of relationship with Barcelona, and it is said that since a few months ago his agent, Pini Zahavi, was talking with important people of the Blaugrana team, but even if his destination seems to be in Spain, it is believed that the fight for the player will enter other important teams in Europe, being Inter and Liverpool two of the teams that can frustrate the plans of the Culés.

According to Soy Calcio's Twitter account, it is known that any team trying to prise the French player from Bayern Munich will have to pay a total of 20 million euros in order to begin negotiations over the player's salary, with the defender currently earning almost 600,000 euros a month, or 7 million euros a year.

Pavard a real reinforcement option for Klopp

After what the substitute players showed in the match against Southampton on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp will most likely want a defender in his squad who can guarantee good games whenever required, as the German coach understands that his squad cannot be totally dependent on players like Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.
