Ecuadorian midfielder Moisés Caicedo is one of the most coveted players in the Premier League, both for his performance and his age and progression. While it seems certain that Alexis Mac Allister will play for Liverpool, the future of Moisés Caicedo remains a mystery.

What does seem clear is that he will not remain at Brighton. Even the DT, Roberto de Zerbi, spoke on the subject; "I think we will lose some great players, but that's OK because they deserve to play for other teams. We have to be ready to bring in other players". Brighton achieved a historic qualification to the Europa League and the coaching staff recognise that they must look for reinforcements: "I don't think we need a lot of players, but we need to compete in the Europa League.

After his last game at Brighton & Hove Albion, Alexis Mac Allister was given an emotional farewell by his team-mates. The World Cup winner remained at the English club for half a season after Qatar 2022 and will now join another club. Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, all indications are that the midfielder will join Liverpool.

Mac Allister's farewell

At the end of the match, and amidst applause from the rest of the players and the entire stadium, the Argentinos Juniors-born midfielder - who also had a spell at Boca - greeted his team-mates one by one with a heartfelt hug in the centre of the pitch.
