Argentine sensation Thiago Almada, 22, has captivated the Premier League giants, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United all vying for his services in the upcoming transfer window. Hailing from Atlanta United, Almada has shone in Major League Soccer, making 66 appearances and contributing 43 goals since his arrival in 2022. His standout 2023 season, with 13 goals and 16 assists in 35 games, has elevated his status on the European radar.

Although the talented midfielder is under contract with Atalanta until 2025, he has expressed his desire to make the move to Europe and prefers the Premier League or La Liga to continue his career. This desire has generated fervent interest from a number of clubs. Manchester United see Almada as a valuable addition to strengthen their attacking front. Chelsea, for their part, known for investing in promising young players, see the Argentine as a perfect fit for their long-term project.

Newcastle United, in the midst of building a competitive squad, believe Almada can make a significant contribution to their aspirations. At Liverpool, where midfield renewal is a priority for Jürgen Klopp, Almada presents himself as an attractive option in both the short and long term. The Anfield outfit are looking for an attacking midfielder, and the Argentine would fit the team's style of play.

Klopp wants Almada

With a contract until 2025, Atalanta could face an uphill battle to retain Almada. The young Argentine talent has become one of the most coveted names in the European market, and his next destination could be determined in the upcoming transfer window, where the lure of the Premier League could prove decisive in his choice.
