Liverpool will play Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace on Matchday 2 of the Premiere League, a game that will take place at Anfield with all the home fans in attendance. James Milner promised that the team is in a position to give the fans some satisfaction after the 2-2 draw against Fulham on Matchday 1.

Miner said, "Obviously it comes from the manager as well, but we know the levels weren't [where] we would like them to be," when asked if the players have shared responsibility for the last game along with Klopp.

“There are discussions between the players as well about what we can do better and how we can improve. Everyone will go home and analyse their own performance as well. That's something we have to improve, for sure, nobody takes it lightly.”

"We know the level that is expected of us and the level we want to produce. Nobody is more critical than the guys in the dressing room. It's disappointing, but hopefully we can bounce back strong on Monday."

Was the draw at Craven Cottage a disappointment?

Milner accepts it was. "I think it was. Obviously you want to start with the three points and we didn't get that and the performance wasn't at the level we'd like it too, so it was disappointing. But it gives us something to improve on. It was down to us, but it's not that we're in bad shape because we played so well the week before. That's the disappointing thing, we didn't manage to repeat our Community Shield form, but that's something we have to work hard on and try to work out why and bounce back this week."
