According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Mohammed Kudus' participation in the Qatar 2022 World Cup to see if it is worth making a million-dollar bid for him in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Reds are on the lookout for midfielders who can take over from the likes of Jordan Henderson and James Milner.

In addition to the constant injuries to Thiago Alcantara. Frenkie de Jong, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice have all been linked with moves to Anfield Road in the summer transfer window. Mohamed Kudus is one of the great revelations of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The 22-year-old Ghana attacker is leading his national team and is providing equal measure of pace, passing and goals.

The African attacking midfielder was already attracting interest from Ajax Amsterdam, but his recent performances for his country have prompted some big-name clubs to join the bidding for his signature. Jurgen Klopp's side have been tracking Kudus for some time, knowing he could be an important attacking addition.  In recent months, the Reds have been in the doldrums in this area since the departure of Sadio Mané and the Ajax player could be the solution. The Brits want reinforcements both in midfield and in attack and the 22-year-old fits the bill perfectly.

The name of Mohammed Kudus has started to be heard strongly due to his impressive breakthrough at Ajax and his performance at the World Cup, being a key player in the Ghana national team. He scored twice in the win over South Korea on the second day of the group stage.

Kudus costs 20 million

The Ghanaian midfielder, who can play both inside and in a double pivot, has 12 goals and two assists in 23 appearances in all competitions this season. His contract expires in the summer of 2025 and his price tag is around 20 million euros. Everything will depend on his performance at the World Cup, where he has shown that he has the conditions to play for top level clubs.
