Mohamed Salah is one goal away from becoming Liverpool's second top scorer in the Premier League. His goal against Manchester United was his 120th for the Reds in the competition and took him level with Steven Gerrard on the list.

Robbie Fowler tops the list with 128 goals in his 266 Premier League appearances, and Salah is on course for his 184th top-flight appearance against Bournemouth. Salah has scored twice as many goals against Bournemouth (eight) as any player in Liverpool's history, in just six appearances.

The Reds are three goals away from recording 800 in all games under Jürgen Klopp. Klopp's men have scored in every league game at Anfield since nil against Fulham in March 2021. Roberto Firmino (with 11) has played more times against Bournemouth than any other Liverpool player in history.

Bournemouth

Liverpool and Bournemouth have met eight times in all competitions at Anfield, with seven wins for the home side and one draw. The home side have scored in all but one of the previous 17 matches - a goalless FA Cup tie in January 1968.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel Phillips spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth, making 17 Championship appearances to help them win promotion. Dominic Solanke joined the Cherries from Liverpool in January 2019. He scored 30 goals last season, 29 of which came in the league.
