Daniel tries his luck as a commentator

Just a few days ago and during the Chelsea game, more than one Liverpool fan could notice during the SKY Sports broadcast some of the interventions of the now commentator, Daniel Sturridge, being this former Reds footballer one of the many elements with a past in Merseyside that has joined the project of this television channel in England, having a first weekend in this new job too acceptable with a good reception from the public.

It seems that the acceptance of a sector of the public will make Daniel a commentator and analyst increasingly recurrent and with greater prominence within the opinions that are made of Liverpool in SKY Sports, giving the company a salary that obviously can not be compared to what he once could get as a footballer but that undoubtedly remains useful in this new stage away from the fields.

In what little information is known about the former England striker's new job, there are assumptions that his earnings could be high from the outset, but this may not secure him a place in the top 10 of the mid-table pay packet headed by Gary Lineker, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, all of whom generate just over £1million.

Although this is not a job with huge earnings, the former Reds footballer on his debut proved to have enough knowledge and charisma to eventually earn himself a place among the best analysts/commentators in England, and although his salary is believed to be under £100,000, his consistency through the games could take him into the top 10 of the highest paid, looking for the Reds and the Premier League but now from another position, to be someone important as he once thought during his career as a striker.
