Before the end of the season, with Liverpool trailing 1-0 to Aston Villa and facing a defeat that would have ended any mathematical hope of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next season's Champions League, Roberto Firmino came off the bench and scored an 89th-minute equaliser in his final game at Anfield.
Firmino created many goals for Mo Salah over the years, but this time it was the Egyptian's turn to be the provider: his cross found Firmino in the middle of the box and the Brazilian pushed it into the net. But even the equaliser could not dampen the emotion of the occasion, as Firmino wept at the tribute paid to him by the crowd.
Liverpool fans waved shirts and cries of "Yes Sir" echoed around Anfield as Firmino's team-mates formed a guard of honour for him and other departing players such as James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita. Since being signed by former manager Brendan Rodgers in 2015, the popular Brazilian became a mainstay of the team Jürgen Klopp built, winning the title and Champions League during his time at the club and scoring on Saturday marked his 110th goal for Liverpool.
Roberto Firmino's future could be in Arabian football as Al Hilal are ready to offer him a contract worth 30 million a year, according to various sources. In that sense it has also been revealed from that magazine that there is a team in that league that also wants to sign Mohamed Salah and would offer about 32 million per year something that would put to think the Egyptian striker of Liverpool.
