A year ago our Liverpool paid 80 million euros to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica, as the Reds board and Jürgen Klopp considered that the Uruguayan striker could be the new great figure of the team, however his first season at Anfield was far from what was expected of him, so the German tactician is already considering other options.

When paying 80 million euros for a player, fans expect him to have an immediate impact on the club, but with Nunez things did not work out that way. However, the signing of Darwin Nunez last season, coupled with the signing of Luis Diaz, showed that when Liverpool's board is willing, they can invest a great deal of money to beat other teams.

Such could be the case with Kylian Mbappé, as everything seems to indicate that it is a matter of time for the French superstar to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and although rumors place him at Real Madrid, there are still those who claim that Mbappé's destination could be in the Premier League, more specifically at Liverpool.

And it is that in the past Kylian Mbappé stated that if one day he gets to play in the Premier League he would like to do it with Liverpool. According to information from various media, PSG would be asking for 250 million euros for the 24-year-old French striker. However, Liverpool's board would be willing to break the market and offer an even higher amount to secure Mbappé's transfer to Anfield.

How much would Liverpool pay for Mbappé?

According to information from Marca, FIFA agent Marco Kirdermir has claimed Liverpool are competing to sign Kylian Mbappe from PSG, with the Reds side said to be readying a €300m package.
