Luis Diaz's return to action has been a cause for celebration for Liverpool fans, who are now dreaming of qualifying for next season's Champions League after a first half of the season that has seen them suffer from injury woes and a lack of results under Jürgen Klopp. The Reds have won six in a row this weekend, four of them with the Colombian available after overcoming the physical problem that kept him out for more than six months.

Although he was a substitute again this weekend against Brentford, he came on after 65 minutes and helped maintain the 1-0 lead that meant three more points in the bag. The fans are not changing for anyone and that means that the joy has also returned to the area around Anfield. Taggy's Bar, an iconic venue for the English club's fans, threw a pre-match party on Saturday with live music and hundreds of people singing along the pavement in front.

One of the moments that went viral on social media was when they sang in honour of Luis Diaz, one of the club's most beloved players. To the rhythm of 'Bella Ciao', an Italian song made famous by the series 'La Casa de Papel', the Reds praised the player and showed their affection for him for the second season he is about to complete.

Nunez's low blow

The lyrics begin by saying "his name is Lucho", "he came from Porto", "he came to score, score, score" and end by mentioning his city of birth: "he's Luis Diaz", "he's from Barrancas", "and now he plays for Liverpool". Although many consider the song to be new, there are records of the composition dating back to May last year, when Diaz was just starting to make his first moves on the left wing for the Merseyside outfit. Jordan Henderson, meanwhile, was heavily criticised for singing the national anthem in the game against Brentford
