Liverpool is currently paying Mohamed Salah almost 14 million euros per season, and they would be willing to pay a significant amount to Mason Mount. The young talented player has had a succesfull run with his current club, Chelsea FC. Reds would take advantage of Chelsea's financial status to snacth the young jewel of English football.

Liverpool is targeting Mason Mount as one of the several reinforcements that would arrive to Anfield ahead of the next season, and according to The Guardian, Mount is also tought to be of interest for Juventus, so if Liverpool's board wants him they are going to have to offer him an attractive contract. What appears to be certain is that Mason won't continue at Stamford Bridge for the next season.

In Liverpool's favor, The Daily Mail reported that the 24 year-old English international at Qatar 2022, is also willing to move and be under de orders of Jürgen Klopp, so that would be a big step forward to his eventual arrival to Anfield. In addition to that, Chelsea seems to be needed of selling players and Mount would mean a big income for them, as he has one year left in his contract.

This season Mount scored three goals at Premier League with Chelsea, who didn't qualify for any European cometitions as the finished the campaign at the 12th position, so a change to Liverpool would mean a lot for Mount who would play Europa League with the Reds.

Liverpool's offer to Mason Mount

Taking into account that Liverpool spends around 214.5 million euros on player wages, they definitely could offer Mount much more than the 4.57 million he is earning currently at Chelsea, so it wouldn't be surprising if they decided to give him at least double of that and thus secure his arrival at the squad.
