Darwin's big problem

Despite being a striker with great potential and great qualities demonstrated in Benfica, where he was scoring champion of the Primeira Liga with 26 goals, in addition to having scored six goals in the Champions League and two more in the Portuguese Cup with a total of 34 goals in 44 games, which earned him a player with worldwide recognition and that his transfer will cost 80 million euros.

However, since his arrival at Liverpool the biggest problem that Darwin Núñez has had is being able to communicate with others, as he does not speak English, which is a fact that has marked his stay at Anfield and was demonstrated last season when his adaptation was very slow and it showed on the pitch, where he could not show his best level, putting in doubt the value for which he arrived at Liverpool.

So the language is among his points to improve without any doubt, so he is already taking classes, however in a recent interview he stated about his problem with the language and said: "I don't speak much English. If they speak to me slower, I understand something. I am taking classes twice a week for 40 minutes. However, he has to continue to study hard to master the language or at least to improve and understand the directions, as twice a week is not enough to master the language.

Darwin close to his best

At the moment he is close to his best at Anfield and it is only a matter of time before he can play more first team games as his confidence will be at its peak. He has already shown that he can make a difference in a matter of minutes and this was an encouraging blow for him to consolidate and become an undisputed starter, so we are at the beginning of the best version of Nunez at Anfield.
