The transfer window is about to begin and Liverpool is shaping up to be one of the most active teams. A few days ago, Jürgen Klopp secured his first signing for the 2022-2023 season in the form of world champion Alexis Mac Allister, who won the Qatar 2022 World Cup, but he is not the only world champion who could arrive at Anfield.

The Reds are aiming to reinforce their squad for next season and although everything indicates that they are willing to spend millions of euros, a world-class player who could come to the team for free would not go amiss, especially if it is a player who has won everything at club level and also with his national team.

Klopp and the Liverpool board have assured that the team's priority is to strengthen the midfield and rejuvenate the squad. However, they are not closed to obtaining players from other positions and who have more experience, as the German tactician knows that veteran players are fundamental for the development of younger players and if the team can sign him at zero cost it would be even better.

Mac Allister's arrival could generate the arrival of other world champions at Anfield, and Reds fans are already looking forward to having a world-class player who can help the team return to the top of the Premier League and therefore back to the Champions League as soon as possible.

Angel Di María, the star to arrive at Anfield

Angel Di Maria, 35, ended his contract with Juventus and will be a free agent as of July 1 and there is already speculation that there will be multiple teams in Europe interested in him. One of them could be Liverpool, who would not frown upon the arrival of a player who has won the Champions League as a key player and who has just won the World Cup with Argentina in Qatar 2022.
