After Jordan Henderson left Liverpool to reunite with Steven Gerrard, who at the helm of Al-Ettifaq wanted Henderson to be a vital part of his new project in Arabia, which he could not refuse as he would no longer have the same prominence in Liverpool, so he decided to accept the offer of his former teammate, however this did not go as expected, and it was a total failure.

Does he want to come back? Jordan Henderson spoke about Anfield

Henderson's luck changed recently when he was able to find an excellent place to return to European soccer when Ajax acquired his services, and where so far he is doing much better than he did in Arabia. It is looking better and better for Henderson, who could be reunited with an old acquaintance next season.

Ajax is not going through one of the best seasons, so they are already looking for a replacement for the coach, who although he is doing well since he was an interim coach, John van 't Schip could be replaced by Pep Lijnders, who would be out of Liverpool by the end of the season along with the whole team of Jürgen Klopp.

So Amsterdam could be Henderson's reunion with Lijnders, which could also be a low blow for the Reds. Lijnders is considered one of the possible replacements for Klopp, since if the arrival of Spanish coach Xabi Alonso is not possible, Pep Lijnders would be the ideal replacement for the vacancy left by Klopp.

Lijnders has been Klopp's assistant for many years, however and from the departure of Zeljko Buvac from Klopp's coaching staff in 2018, this change seems to have BEEN of greater benefit to the Reds, since from his departure the titles began to come to Liverpool, as after his departure Klopp and Lijnders were able to win the Champions League. So after working with Klopp for so long, Lijnders is now undoubtedly capable of managing any team.
