This Liverpool legend did not hold back on his praise for Luis Diaz

"I didn't like Torres. He stepped on my foot once in a game when the ball was at the other end. I needed stitches. I was playing and the ball was at the other end and we'd had a few run-ins in the game. The ball came out the other end and he just stepped on my foot and there was no ball anywhere near" Ferdinand said.

He then went on to tell the story: "I went in at half-time and when I took my boot off it was the worst thing I could have done. My foot swelled up, I had to have stitches, they gave me an injection, I put the boot on and went out to play. It hurt for a long time and I still have a scar on my foot. He's a nasty character.”
