Champions in Germany and eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Bayern Munich are planning a 'revolution' in their squad. According to Sky Sports, the German club already have two names on the list to leave the Allianz Arena: Sadio Mané and João Cancelo. After a season considered disappointing by the board, the two stars would be the first to be 'sacrificed' for a general change in the squad that the German club is planning for the next cycle.

Sadio Mané arrived in the last European summer transfer window as the big name to replace the departure of Robert Lewandowski, who headed to Barcelona. However, mainly due to injuries, the Senegalese did not deliver what was expected.

In addition, his most notable episode in a Bayern shirt was the big trouble he got into with Leroy Sané, even going so far as to assault the German with a punch in the mouth after the 3-0 Champions League defeat to Manchester City in England.

Return to Anfield

According to the Luverpool Echo, Sadio Mane could be in line for a shock return to Liverpool, with Bayern Munich ready to cut the forward loose this summer. That would mean that the playing options for Darwin Nunez would be further reduced, something that would be a major blow for him.
